My Garden- Tung Blossom

My garden has different seasons representative plants, such as December to March is the camellia, and now is unique to Taiwan tung trees, this tree in previous years, it is often the use of wood, such as oil or extract make wooden shoes, but now become ornamental trees tung trees, because it will bloom in April each year, it is very common in the Taiwan north mountainous, tung trees is the most beautiful flowers withered when its petals fall like snow, so we also called this plant for May flowers(五月雪)

庭院裡的油桐花

油桐花開了大概三成，當初他嚷著一定要在庭院種幾株桐花樹，這樣每年四五月才有美麗的桐花可以欣賞，油桐樹生命力極強，社區本來原生油桐非常多，雖然白色油桐落花美麗，但每到冬季落葉也非常驚人，所以鄰居都把油桐樹減少，種一些像是松柏類的植物。

另一半種了5株油桐樹，近距離看著油桐春夏秋冬四季不同變化，也是很奇妙的感受，我不排斥多種類種植，就像人必須要吸收不同的新知識一樣，油桐樹雖然抓地力不夠，被一些人視為不能水土保持的植物，這未必太狹隘，但我想我們身處的這裡本來就是以油桐著稱，不用去刻意看輕油桐樹。

桐花開放時，也是昆蟲很好的蜜源植物之一，那天下午站在樹蔭處觀察，不少種類的蝴蝶穿梭桐花，形成一幅很美的景色。
